`World Earth Day` was celebrated in our school premises on 22nd April 2010 along with Society for Promoting Global Sustainability. The chief guests for the programme were Dr. Ramalingam, Director, Remote Sensing and Dr. Ram Mohan, Director, Environmental Studies from Anna University. They addressed the students on climate change and its consequences and how to mitigate it. Various competitions like oratorical competition, drawing and painting competition on climate change and global warming were held. Prizes were distributed to students who participated.
